Ok, I'm back from my new year break and I have just uploaded some more photos from my collection. This time some oldies from 1993 showing the re-location of the substation at Macclesfield

Then a pair of photos of the L6 tower I built from wire for my A Level Tech & Design course. Its not finished but it took ages just to get it to this stage, many hours in the workshop brazing the rod sections together and adding the cross members.

I will take some photos of the Hornby model pylons and add them soon.
Then a few of the L3? design of tower that runs between New Mills and Buxton/Waterswallows El Subs along the A6 and A6 bypass between Dove Holes and Whaley Bridge. Only the suspension towers are of L? design but all of the deviation and terminal towers are of L3 design I think. The circuit changes from being twin conductor to single conductor near Chapel Milton where a terminal tower facilitates the change over.
