There are some unusual looking L3 pylons in South Gloucestershire. They are near the village of Westerleigh.
Well here's a basic one to start off with, this is on Westerleigh Road.

Take a look at this one. I was told it looks lopsided, there are seven pylons like this in the line.

Here's three more.

On Nibley Lane, the other side of Westerleigh.

Some L6 pylons heading up towards them.

The L3 pylons cross over the road.

Then they return to the basic L3 pylons.

Unfortunately the pylons don't look like this now, all the pylons in the line have had new insulators put on them, so they are now all basic pylons. I did say there where seven, but when these pictures were taken there were only five. Two of them had already had their insulators changed.
Still I hope you like them.
