I've mentioned it a couple of times so I thought I'd dig up the photos. Not great but all I've got! The scout camp www.thequarriescampsite.co.uk/ got planning to use an old pylon as a climbing frame - they didn't use the very bottom sections though. They reported that they dismantled it (once lying down, I suspect) and very quickly learnt to paint the joints, so they could match them up when trying to reassemble! Photos: mainly show disassembly and clearing the space, except climbing tower 002 which shows reassembly and climbing tower 003 which shows a metal tag they found at the top of the pylon and kindly sent to me as a keepsake. gorge.org/images/misc/2009/scoutpylon/Not brill photos but hope it's of interest.

Just emailed them for an update and got a new photo (added to directory linked above, called tower 006).
They need money for engineer and also concrete for the foundations but are still working on it - putting timber stages inside - and hope to get it complete next year.
