My First Pylon picture tour, An L6 line was about to terminate on the M69 This line Has been restrung which goes over the M69 in 2011 i think. The other way The L6 line turns to 1 L8 D90 then turns to L2 back to the M1 The Image here was before it was restrung We Bump Into a L3 line and L7 line After the L6 Ends Further Back of the L3 line There is 1 L3C Tower in the line OMG A L3C! Suddenly A PL4 Line joins the line with the L3s and L7s The PL4 Line is The one on the right of the L3 D10 We Suddenly See the L3, L7 And PL4 Go across the Aylestone Meadows Heres A Picture Of the PL4 and PL4 D30 The Pylons Reach The Canal and Come to an End Any Replies Below And

Nice pictures, I take it that's one of the L6 routes that changes to L2 near Hinckley, I would like to find those pylons.
Could that L3C pylon you were talking about be the one on the A563 at Leicester.
Another PL4 route, I already know one that heads from Melksham to Andover.

Cheers Christopher Try near where Potters Marston Lane / Pingle Lane crosses the M69 (near Hinckley). Enderby to East Claydon 400kV circuits turn one way (L6 to L2) and in the same field, Ratcliffe to Coventry (275kV) and Willington East to Hams Hall (400kV) circuits turn the other way (L2 to L6)

And once upon a time before the L6 line was built the L2 line ran from Willington/Ratcliffe down to East Claydon and then modified to accommodate the L6 lines as per the present arrangement shown in the photo.

I remember before meridian business was built there were pl1s running with a junction pylon near to the l3 mid arm close to junction 21 of m1 was a pl1 single circuit running past lfe services.
