1930 - 1975
The info I have from Scottish Hydroelectric is;
PL1 Dual voltage 132 / 33Kv Tummel power station - Keith substation. Construction 1930 / 31. Generating equipment at Loch Tummel power station didn't initially have capacity for 132Kv. 132kV energized in 1936. 33Kv energized 1931 providing electricity to Dalwhinnie, Newtonmore, Kinguissie, Aviemore, Boat of Garten, Nethy Bridge, Grantown on Spey, Dufftown, Craigellichie and Keith. Initial Wood pole routes taken directly from towers, or the main substations at Newtonmore and Aviemore, supplied smaller villages, such as Kincraig & Carrbridge. Wood pole routes gradually added to online customers as and when required (farming communities, forestry).
1950 - 1990
PL16 132kV double circuit Etteridge - Fort Augustus built 1950. 132kV substation built at Boat of Garten 1950. PL1 Tummel - Boat of Garten dual voltage 132 / 33kV now terminated at existing deviation tower. PL1 Boat of Garten - Keith " " " (line continued on three PL16 replacement towers to accommodate line to Aberdeen before reverting to original PL1.) PL16 Boat of Garten - Aberdeen 132kV double circuit built 1950 / 51. PL16 Beauly - Boat of Garten built 1950 / 51.
1975/76
Multiple tower replacement during A9 trunk road construction upper Glen Garry to Newtonmore south.
1978 multiple towers damaged in snow storm along Drumochter.
1982 original 33kV double circuit wood pole routes replaced with standard 33kV single circuit running parallel (Newtonmore & Aviemore).
I've covered 1990 onward in previous posts. Hope this helps.

Sorry I've been offline for a few weeks. Hoping to get back on this weekend or next to finish this post. Still have the suspension towers, one of the terminal towers and some pictures of modern interlopers. Thanks, albell. It's always nice to have that extra information, especially about a route I was so fond of.
